One Pleated Skirt; 4 Different Outfits

When I’m spending money on clothes, I want pieces that fill as many holes in my wardrobe as possible, not just a one-time-wear piece. Midi length pleated skirts have been making headway for a few seasons, so I finally bought this J Crew sparkler, but I wanted to make sure I could wear it more than once. I’m not convinced I have the right schedule to wear it in the daytime (maaaaaybe to a friend lunch?) but I feel good about the party circuit. It has grey undertones, so it works best with other grey-adjacent colors, black, and white. It doesn’t work with browns and nudes, so don’t try (bummer, I know). I love it styled more casually with the white mens button down and belt, and an oversized tunic sweater would work just as well (I just don’t have one - new get!). Also, don’t be afraid to mix gold and silver - it’s tres chic right now! Happy shopping and outfit-making!
