New Spring 2022 Trends!

We had a bit of a heat wave recently here in LA, so I was reaching for my summer clothes and realized I wanted an update. The spring 2022 trends are not that different from last season - keep layering oversized cotton shirts over neutrals. Here I paired a Frankie Shop white shirt over a sexy Enza Costa tank with wide leg shorts, trekkies, and gold hoops. New to the equation is a string of pearls, baseball cap, and a pop of color (here in bag form). Pearls have come a long way and are no longer considered conservative - you can wear them with anything these days (special thanks to Harry Styles for pushing this trend for the more adventurous boys, too!). Try layering the pearls with other necklaces too - the best options being gold herringbone and small link chokers. Baseball hats are nothing new, but these days a very simple navy, black or neutral color with minimal logos or art looks super chic. And especially new is a bright pop of color - and the colors of the moment are electric blue, bright green, or orange. I’ve linked some options below!

Remember my friends, it is OK to wear black, navy and bright blue all at the same time! :) Feel free to sub a wide leg, cropped, high waisted pant for the shorts (yep, still the best pant style). You can tie the shirt around your waist a la 90’s style, or drape over your shoulders a la 80’s preppy style. A white or neutral sneaker is also ok, as well as Birkenstocks Arizonas.
